Terms of use

1. What this service is

Formulateka is an information service. It runs no retail sale, it is not a pharmacy and not the manufacturer of the preparations it describes. An order form passes contact details to a distributor, who fulfils the order on terms of their own.

2. What the texts are

The descriptions are informative. They are no medical advice and no recommendation to use anything. The products described are dietary supplements or cosmetics: none of them is a medicinal product, and none replaces what a doctor has prescribed.

3. Sources

Information about composition and use comes from manufacturers and is marked as such. We take care to keep it current, yet a manufacturer may change a recipe or the terms of sale without notice. Next to every composition stands the document it was copied from and the day of the check; the method is described in About us.

• Spain: the preparations described for that country.

4. Orders and payment

A contract of sale is concluded between the buyer and the distributor, not with the operator of the service. The amount to be paid, the delivery cost and the terms of return and complaint are set by the distributor during the telephone call that confirms the order, and the consumer rights that apply are those of the country the order is shipped to. The scope of the data passed to the distributor is described by the Privacy policy.

5. Liability

The operator of the service does not answer for the fulfilment of an order, for delivery times or for the effects of using the products described. The decision to use a preparation belongs to the reader and, with medicines taken regularly or with an existing condition, should be preceded by a talk with a doctor.

6. Commission

The operator of the service receives a commission from the distributor for orders placed through a form. It has no influence on the price paid by the buyer.

7. Remarks and corrections

Remarks about the texts are accepted at kontakt@formulateka.com. Where a description turns out to be wrong, it is corrected and the change is noted.
